People who vote for the Republican Party candidate in an election are responsible for every bad thing that candidate does in office. People who vote for the Democratic Party candidate are not responsible for any bad thing that candidate does.
Why are Republican voters responsible but Democratic voters aren’t? The answer is alternatives. Republican voters have an alternative: vote for the Democrat and avert disaster. But Democratic voters have no alternative. What do you want them to do, vote for the Republican? That would make things worse. Vote for a third-party candidate? You might as well as vote for the Republican.
